Thank You Adrienne!!

We are so thankful that you let us borrow your portable DVD player! The trip has gone by without any hassle, knock on wood! I would post pictures, but it'll have to wait until we get home from Texas. We've made it to Knoxville, TN and have about 20 more hours ahead of us. :) But the DVD player makes it SO much easier! Lorelai has already watched about 3 movies!

Lorelai's Babysitting Skills

I was in the kitchen making baby food and Shane was in the living room with the girls. Apparently he watched the whole thing unfold and called me in to see the mostly finished product. What I forgot to tell him is that Lorelai did this exact same thing earlier today when we were upstairs in their bedroom. I had Felicity in the crib and Lorelai was rummaging through all of her toys... next thing I knew, Felicity was surrounded by toys and stuffed animals! Lorelai had put them through the crib slats and dropped them over the rail! With these sharing qualities, she's going to be the best big sister ever! :)

Christmas Portraits

I've left out a few poses... we used them on this year's Christmas cards, so I don't want to ruin the fun by showing the pictures before the cards go out!

We didn't get half as many good poses as we would have liked, but I guess you learn to work with what you've got. Lorelai is still a bit too young to have the control required to sit still for a photo shoot. And Felicity... she just wanted to crawl all over the place. Oh, and then there were the wardrobe malfunctions. You can see that Felicity's snowballs fell off her dress at some point during the shoot. Luckily, Lorelai's fell off BEFORE we went to the studio, so we were able to sew them back on (thanks Grandma!). Maybe next year will be a bit easier? We can only hope! :)















And since Lorelai didn't cooperate much at the studio, I tried to get a few once we were home:
