An Evening Out

Daddy stuck his hands in the fountain and ruffled my hair. Isn't it lovely?

Unity

We came across a Somalian family while at the bookstore this evening... this little boy (11 months old) and Lorelai (9 months old) were mesmerized with each other.

Seems so bittersweet, considering the current situation in Somalia. Posted by Picasa

Peek-A-Boo!

I'm learning how to play Peek-A-Boo!

Tired and cranky... very ready for bed. Such a rollercoaster of emotions. Peek-A-Boo one minute, cries the next.

Can you see my teeth??? There are two popping up, but only one is really visible. See it???!!!

Tropical Storm Alberto

This is what the remnants of Tropical Storm Alberto brought...

Looking down the stairs of the deck out back.

Oddly enough, this post is the only part of our 'house' that is located in the 100-year floodplain. Let's hope we're safe for another 100 years.

This water came from the creek that is at the edge of our property.

Not much excitement out front, but you can see the hay in our yard nurturing the grass seeds! Posted by Picasa
