An Afternoon on the Town

We heard there was a temporary ice skating rink in town for a few months, so we decided to take a stroll around town before Shane's family left to go back home.

Christmas 2009

A few pictures from Christmas morning:


One of the two baby dolls Felicity received. They both also received the nostalgic Tootsie roll candy jar/piggy bank.

The only thing that would make this picture any cuter is if all three of them were wearing diapers!

Lorelai's First 'Haircut'

4 years old, and not once has she had her hair trimmed... no bangs, no dead ends cut off... genuine baby curls!




Until this evening!

Hair brushing time has become such a battle that we decided it was time to see if trimming the ends would help out. The curly ends of her hair would just mat up into large knots, and so quickly... It almost hurt me to cut off her baby curls, but take a look at this kid! She looks so much older now!



If I had my way, we'd cut it into a cute shoulder-length style, but Shane doesn't want to hear it. I think she'd be so cute with short hair!

We had planned on using one of these photos for this year's Christmas card, but we decided to get the kids all together for one photo instead. Those pictures will be posted once the cards have been mailed out.
