Lorelai's First 'Real' Christmas!

Is it okay for me to open this, Daddy?

Her very own baby doll!

A little help from Daddy...

The 'new' See and Says are quite different than they were 20 years ago!

From Grandma and Grandpa Priest...

I think she likes it! :)

Here comes the process of deciding WHICH color to choose:

Black?

Green?

Blue?

Orange?

The 2006 Christmas Aftermath

Christmas Afternoon

This kid loves 'gathering' objects. She will walk around with a box or bag, or whatever she can find that will hold other small objects, and just throw them in. I was feeding her lunch and went to start a load of laundry.

When I came back, her sandwich was neatly arranged, inside a cup, as you see here

Here, she was transferring these plastic icecubes from the bowl to the bag, back to the bowl, to the bag, and on, and on, and on, and... yeah, you get the picture. It's honestly an ENDLESS cycle. She will keep herself entertained like this for an hour, easy.

Just being cute at the end of Christmas Day.

The Latest Tummy Pictures

I'm amazed at the changes pregnancy brings! I know I've already been pregnant once before, but it doesn't make it any less spectacular!

I'm most surprised by the progress I've made from start to present:

8 weeks (September 26th)

20 weeks, 2 days (December 21st)

And even more surprising is the difference between 20 weeks 1st pregnancy and 20 weeks 2nd pregnancy:

p.s. Did I mention we found out the little bump is a GIRL? :)

2006 Holiday Portraits

Today our first (professional) family portraits were taken!

As hard as it is to keep a 14 month old where you want them (and smiling!), I think most of these turned out fantastic.

A Lorelai collage

A Priest Family collage

Someone wasn't being very cooperative in this picture, but at least the photographer caught her before that little smirk turned into a full-on frown...
(poor Shane was having a heck of a time holding this squirming child with only one arm/hand!)

Now THIS is the kind of picture I love to see!
(too bad that barrette wouldn't stay in)

We got lucky on this one, because she would NOT sit still!

Climbing on the 'prop'

There is one more picture I'm leaving out, and that's only because it is the one we put on our Christmas Cards. Once I get those mailed out, I'll upload it.
